Alice Tawhai has written three short story collections, Festival of Miracles (2005), Luminous (2007) which was a finalist in the 2008 Montana New Zealand Book Awards in the fiction section, and Dark Jelly (2011). She has also written a novel Aljce in Therapy Land which was longlisted in the Ockham New Zealand Book Awards.
