Morgan Godfery 'grew up in Kawerau where he lives with his partner and their baby. Morgan is a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Law at Victoria University of Wellington, a former senior lectureer at the Otago Business School, and a researcher for First Union. Morgan also writes a regular column for Stuff, Metro and the Guardian. His whakapapa is to Kokohinau Marae in Te Teko.'
