Ross Hemera was born in Kurow and educated at Omarama Primary School, Waitaki Boys’ High School and Otago Polytechnic where he graduated with a Diploma of Fine and Applied Arts. He has worked as an Art Tutor at Waiariki Polytechnic and lectured at Wellington Polytech. Ross Hemera is currently a Senior Lecturer at the School of Design, Massey University, Wellington.
