This letter dated January 25, 1834 and sent from Waimate is a response to a letter from Mrs Coleman. He speaks of his conversion to Christianity and how this has changed his lifestyle to one of going out ‘to preach the good news of salvation to the surrounding tribes.’ He also speaks of the destructiveness of sin and evils of the heart.
