  • In this collection of ten waiata in Māori and English for voice and piano Piripata provides musical arrangements for the following songs "Haere Ra e Hine (Hinemoa Poi-Song)", "Haere Atu Ra (Adieu), "Haere e Hine (Adieu, Oh Maid)", "E Hine, E Hoki Mai (Oh Maiden, Return Hither)", "Toia Mai Te Waka (Haul Hither the Canoe) (A Welcoming Song)", "E Te Arawa Tirohia Ra (Oh Arawa! Arm Yourselves)", "Moe Mai e Hine (Sleep Gently, O Maid!)", "Matangi (Love Ditty)", "Mahara Ki a Au (Remember Me)", and "Titi-Torea (Poi-Song) and Huri-Huri". Morihi Keiha writes an introduction to this collection of songs and gives a general guide to the pronunciation of the Māoori language in the songs. Keiha as in Songs of the Māori People (Waiata O Te Iwi Māori) (See following citation), may well have provided the English translations for these songs.
